Cultural Stamp Series - Mexico
Type: Illustration & Print Design Tools: Adobe Illustrator Objective: This conceptual project was focused on designing a series of U.S. postage stamps celebrating global culture. For this collection, I chose to highlight the vibrant traditions and artistic heritage of Mexico. My Role: I illustrated and designed a cohesive set of stamps entirely in Adobe Illustrator, focusing on visual storytelling, bold colors, and intricate details that reflect Mexico’s rich cultural identity. Each stamp features symbolic imagery representing aspects of Mexican life, art, and heritage. Design Approach: The illustrations were inspired by traditional Mexican motifs, folk art, and iconic symbols — including patterns, colors, and textures commonly associated with the country. The goal was to capture cultural pride while maintaining clarity and visual consistency across the series. Result: The final collection demonstrates my ability to blend illustration with functional design. It showcases both artistic versatility and a strong understanding of layout, scalability, and theme cohesion — essential skills in editorial and print design.
